Jón Þór Gunnarsson
Jón Þór is an Environmental and Civil Engineer who graduated from the University of Iceland. He also holds an M.Sc. degree in Urban Development and Construction Management from the Technical University of Denmark. From 2008 to 2017, Jón Þór worked as a specialist at Mannvit Engineering. In the period between 2018 and 2021, he held positions at Kvika banki hf. and its subsidiary, GAMMA, initially as a specialist in Asset Management and later as a director. Since June 2021, Jón Þór has been serving as the CEO of Kaldalón.

Högni Hjálmtýr Kristjánsson
Högni is an Economist from the University of Iceland and a certified securites broker. Högni was a specialist at GAMMA, an asset management firm, from 2016 to 2021, working mostly in alternative real estate funds. He has also worked as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Iceland.
Högni joined Kaldalón in July 2021.
Helga Sif Halldórsdóttir
Helga Sif holds a B.Sc. degree in business administration with a focus on finance and management from Akureyri University. From 2014-2022, Helga worked in the financial department of Norðurál, Iceland. In the years 2005 -2013 whe worked with Síminn in business management.
Helga joined Kaldalón in October 2022.
Albert Leó Haagensen
Albert Leó Haagensen is an Environmental and Civil Engineer who graduated from the University of Iceland. He possesses extensive experience in various aspects of the real estate industry, including design, construction, management, and maintenance. From 2005 to 2010, Albert worked as a structural designer at Ferli ehf, an engineering firm. Following that, between 2010 and 2019, he was involved in diverse projects at Ístaki hf, a construction company. His responsibilities encompassed overseeing building and infrastructure projects, coordinating construction preparations, and managing planning and cost control.
Albert joined Kaldalón in February 2023, bringing his wealth of experience and expertise to the company.
Sigurbjörg Ólafsdóttir
Sigurbjörg holds a B.Sc. degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from University of Iceland and is a certified security broker.
Between 2019-2023 Sigurbjörg held the position as Director of Property- and Infrastructure financing at Arion Bank. Earlier she held the position as Director of Risk Management at Arion Bank.
Sigurbjörg was a board member of Landfestar ehf. real estate company between 2011 and 2014.
Sigurbjörg joins Kaldalón in August 2023.

Ásgeir Helgi Reykfjörð Gylfason
Ásgeir Helgi Reykfjörð Gylfason er fæddur árið 1982. Ásgeir starfar sem forstjóri Skel fjárfestingafélags hf. frá júlí 2022. Ásgeir er með lögmannsréttindi, ML og BA gráðu í lögum frá Háskólanum í Reykjavík. Ásgeir hefur mikla reynslu af fjármálamarkaði, síðast sem aðstoðarbankastjóri Arion banka hf. Þá hefur Ásgeir starfað hjá Straumi fjárfestingabanka, LOGOS lögmannsþjónustu í Reykjavík og London, Kviku banka hf. og framkvæmdahóp um losun fjármagnshafta. Ásgeir hefur setið í stjórnum í tengslum við fyrri störf, s.s. í FÍ fasteignafélagi. Skel fjárfestingafélag er eigandi yfir 10% útgefnu hlutafjár í Kaldalóni og eigandi alls hlutafjár í Orkan IS ehf. sem er leigutaki hjá Kaldalóni. Engin hagsmunatengsl eru við helstu samkeppnisaðila Kaldalóns. Ásgeir hefur setið í stjórn Kaldalóns frá maí 2022.
Álfheiður Ágústsdóttir
Álfheiður Ágústsdóttir is born in the year 1981. Álfheiður joined the board of Kaldalón in April 2022. Álfheiður is the CEO of Elkem Ísland and member of the board of Elkem Materials inc,, Elkem Rana Norway, Birtu lífeyrissjóð og Klafa ehf. Álfheiður graduated Bifröst University with M.sc. desgree in leadership and management in 2020.
Haukur Guðmundsson
Haukur Guðmundsson was born in 1977. Haukur is a manager in Hafnargarður and sits on the boards of Epi-Invest ehf., Bronz Charm ehf., Fellasmára ehf., Frambúð ehf., G604 ehf., Gráberg ehf., Sedrus ehf. and HK investment ehf. Haukur graduated with a B.Sc. degree in civil engineering from the University of Iceland. Haukur has extensive experience in the real estate market, both construction, development and operation of real estate. Haukur owns no shares in Kaldalón and has no interest in main competitors or shareholders who own more than 10% of the share capital issued by Kaldalón hf. Haukur has been on the board of Kaldalón since March 2023.
Pálína María Gunnlaugsdóttir
Pálína María Gunnlaugsdóttir is born in 1987. She currently holds the position of Managing Director of IREF ehf. and a board member. Pálína also holds position of director in IREF subsidiaries. Pálina has experience in financial sector and banking where she worked for Arion Banki hf. in the years 2013-2023 where she held the position of account manager. Pálina holds a B.Sc. degree in business administration. Pálína is a former national team player in basketball. Parent companies of IREF hold 5,55% share in Kaldalón hf. each. Pálína holds no interest in main competitors of Kaldalón. Pálína has been on the board of Kaldalón since April 2024.
María björk Einarsdóttir
María Björk was born in 1989. María has worked as Eimskip's CFO since mid-2021 and sits on the boards of various companies connected to Einskip's group. Prior to that, she was the managing director of Alma real estate company (formerly Almenna leigufélagið) for seven years and led the development, financing and finally the sale of the company to new owners in 2021. Previously, María worked in the financial sector as an expert in the field of specialized investments, with a focus on investments in real estate projects. María does not own a share in the company and has no interest in the main business partners and competitors of the company or the company's shareholders who own more than 10% of Kaldalón. Maria has a B.Sc. degree in operations engineering, with a focus on finance, from the University of Reykjavík and has completed a degree in securities trading. María has been on the board of Kaldalón since March 2023.
Gunnar Henrik Gunnarsson
Gunnar Hendrik Gunnarsson was born in 1974. He has served on Kaldalón's board between 2020 and 2023. He is a board member of GG optic ehf. Smárahvammur ehf., A.M.W ehf., Augað ehf., Prooptik ehf., Traustak ehf., Investar ehf. and RES ehf. Gunnar has been on the company's board since June 2019.
